Our adult lessons, taught on either a Keelboat or Dinghy, allow you to learn to sail without owning a boat, recive creative and competent instruction, all while starting to experience a life long sport. We provide suitable course materials for mature students.
Adult Keelboat 2018
$660 per session
The BSBC keel-boat lessons are taught aboard our club-owned Shark. The Shark is a 24-foot keelboat, a perfect gateway boat into the sport of sailing. Sailors will learn basic cruising skills consistent with the Sail Canada standards. Upon completion of this program, and successful demonstration of Sail Canada checklist items, you will be eligable to join the "BSBC Shark Program".

Adult Dinghy 2018
$450 per session
Our dinghy lessons are taught to CANSail standards in "420" class sailboats. These boats are some of the newest in the club's fleet, and are great to learn in. As a dinghies, these boats give sailors a much more responsive feel. You will quickly learn the importance of balance while dinghy sailing. These sailboats are safe, and easy to learn in. As you progress and improve as a sailor, the 420 class sailboat provides many new skills to move on to. From the very basics of sailing right through to high level technical control, we have great equipment for you to learn to sail in
