Wet Feet

This is an introductory level for children 5 to 8 years old that focuses on getting comfortable with sailing. We teach this level through a variety of educational games and activities. Sailors will learn basic rigging, boat parts, & knots. They will have the opportunity to discover boating at their own pace with the guidance of a CYA certified sailing instructor.

The best boat for this age group is the Optimist class Dinghy or "Opti" for short. At BSBC, we have a fleet of these boats, and a skilled instructor who specializes in this level.
